Defective products and bad customer service
Very difficult company to deal with - poor customer service.

Product stopped working after 3 months, but impossible to get a refund or replacement, despite returning the product to them after sending a video showing that one of the robovac wheel motors had failed.

Very good quality camera
Very good quality camera, easy to install for most people familiar with downloading apps and following instructions.
Negatives: As reported elsewhere the latest ethernet hardwired homebase occasionally looses it's connection to the internet. You do not get a warning on the app push notifications of this and it's fixed by switching the base on and off. I suggest that a future firmware update work to resolve this bug or as a workaround solution include a firmware update to include a self monitoring self power restart feature for it to automatically resolve this issue itself. Also update the app to see if there's anyway of informing the owner when connection to the base has been lost for substantial amount of time.

Great product
Great product. Did lots of research of similar products, but the fact there's no subscription, easy to install and great support from customer service...it was a no brainer. Highly recommend Eufy ☺

Think twice before buying
Not able to vacuum the apartment, needs to recharge in ever shorter intervalls. Manual and app give no clue either. I guess I need book this purchase under expensive learning experience.

Excellent piece of kit, BUT
The doorbell video unit works a treat … crisp pictures, great notifications, excellent piece of kit. SO useful.

However .. the setting up was a nightmare. I was using an Android phone and all was going well until I was asked to ‘give home a name’ , or something similar. The app refused to accept anything. I went online and discovered others had had a similar experience, which was quite depressing.

Fortunately I have an iPad, downloaded the Apple version of the app and was able to complete the setup. Had I not had an iPad, or indeed not thought of using it, the app would have been useless.

It now works fine on the iPad AND Android phone, but that software needs looking at.

(Also remember to set ‘roaming data’ if you intend to view away from your home).

Bad quality assurance
Good for the cameras, but terrible doorbell.
I got a set of cameras and a homebase which worked perfectly (in spite of the battery life below advertised values), which then encouraged me to get the doorbell.
The doorbell and its base never worked flawlessly for more than a week. The remote keeps disconnecting and the base keeps freezing and not responding to the app. Sometimes a reset will fix it, sometimes it won't, but it never works consistently for more than 5 days.
I've been in contact with Eufy support for the last year, and got sent a broken, refurbished replacement, which is now piling up as paperweight at home. Now they keep asking for proof of the faults (and I keep sending), but no actions are taken. Almost deciding to give up and buy a different brand, and keeping Eufy as an expensive paperweight.

A good system
A good system, easy to install and operate. The 20% discount I got was the clincher. One concern is the latest news reports on China and world surveillance as this product is Chinese?

I bought the new eufyCam S300 3C with a total of 6 cams. I had some contacts with the company about the solar panel (the adapter was not available). I am very surprised and totally enthusiastic about the service and communication! Also totally satisfied with the system (switching from Arlo). 100 points from me - keep it up :-)

I really like the product it works very well. my disappointment is i cannot buy the accessories because they have been out of stock for over a month.. It would be nice to know when the tools will be available in the UK.

I'm disappointed with my eufy robo vac…
I'm disappointed with my eufy robo vac G20.
It took 5 days to arrive. It was difficult to connect to it via the app.
It seems to clean the same area over and over again and ignore some easily accessible areas. It gets stuck under the sofa so I can't leave it unattended without moving a lot of furniture to block access. It doesn't always follow the pattern it is supposed to of going up and down the room, it spins round and seems confused. It loses power when left switched on on the charger. The brushes look as if they would need replacing frequently. And the dog doesn't like it.
I am sorry I bought it. It might be suutable for a house with small rooms, not much furniture and no pets.

There is poor customer service
There is poor customer service. The help chat function is cumbersome and have to wait for a long time to be put to somebody. Similarly the phone call function was hit and miss in regards to who the operator was.
Eufy should have onsite support, where they can send people out and help with installation.
Also big problem with people without iphones. My android Samsung - the camera's wouldnt connect or read the VR code on the screen. Only until i used my brothers iphone (cameras worked straight away) then was the problem sorted.
Eufy needs to make their products more android compatible.
Once i got the camera's installed - I'm having troubles downloading the full clips (eufy S40 solocam)

This product is first class
This product is first class. I have had the market leaders product for the last few years but needed to change as battery life was poor and the face plate rusted badly. I was looking for something that didn’t rust (I live by the sea) and had better battery life. Eufy had the product that did just that and more in so far as no subscription charge required. Fitting and set up was simple and I am delighted with the performance of the product.

Excellent customer support
One of the cameras failed to connect to the home base - customer support have been brilliant and I've just received an email to say a replacement will be arriving Friday 6th Feb :-)

Well I had a great experience with Eufy…
Well I had a great experience with Eufy UK customer service. We had one camera that was not charging properly and was under guarantee. I spoke to customer services by phone, tried the various methods suggested by email comms to diagnose the fault, and then determined a replacement was required. We were a bit slow sending off the faulty camera (Christmas and Covid) and they then chased us several times to help resolve matters. 4 days after sending proof of posting, I got the replacement camera. One happy customer!
